Since public sector pension plans are not subject to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, funding requirements vary widely across public plans, as well as relative to private-sector, single employer pension plans and multiemployer pension plans. In this webinar, presented by the Academy’s Public Plans Committee, speakers will:

• Explore prudent funding practices; and
• Explore considerations being made in the management of “surplus.”
